I was an active host while living in Chicago, but then moved to Kansas City and "protested" CS charging, particularly hosts, to be active on their site so I took a break for a few years, but I am back. Now that I have a single family home, I am able to host STR so I also have my place listed on several sites and would take priortiy; but I love meeting people from around the world so welcoming guests. I have traveled quite a bit while I was working so I have seen many places; but enjoy meeting and hosting guys from around the world. If you request to stay, please mention something about my profile and your comfort level around nudity, naked, nudist, or naturist to confirm we are on the same page. I would also ask if there were more than one guest, unless you are a couple, that each guest make a request and at least one in the party be male. Overall, I have more than enjoyed my guests, which is why I enjoy hosting couchsurfers; but there have been a few that leads me to share these comments if requesting to stay with me. Please remember you are guests until we become friends and do not expect or treat my hospitality as a hotel, BandB, coffee shop, grocery store, laundry mat, restaurant, brothel, convenience store, bar, urgent care, etc. All of these things and much much more are in the area and probably much higher standards so please venture to those places if that is what you are looking for and/or need. I know many hosts enjoy serving as a tour guide; but not for me. I will however be more than happy to provide ideas of things to see and do. I usually prefer to do my own thing so please do not think of me a tour guide, taxi, or maid so yes, I do expect you put things back in the same order, condition and cleanliness in which they were when you arrived; this is couchsurfing where I want to offer you a "couch" (aka warm bed with sheets and pillow and a bath with towels) in a safe, quite, and convenient home/location for your stay in this fun and exciting city of Kansas City.
