I am a Chinese student now studying at Oberlin College, Ohio. I am a politics and theater double major here and during my college years I am mostly submerged into the world of social science. I can talk about creepy sociological topics like the anthropological origin of kiss or the relationship between urban planning and prostitution in ancient China for days. I am also knowledgeable in current politics and willing to share my opinions with you~ Besides, I am also an art fan, while I was living in London and New York, I used to go to theaters and Opera houses at least twice a week. My special love was given to Shakespeare, I've read, studied, and watched his plays for years, and I once played Iago in Othello as my final performance in an Acting class. Besides Shakespeare,other theater masters like Chekov, Ibsen, O'Neil, Albee, Verdi, Puccini and Petipa have all influenced me a lot, if you are also into theaters or just want know more about it, come on, we can be really good friends! I chose politics and theater as my majors because I am mostly passionate in these two fields, but that doesn't mean my interest stop there. In fact, I am obsessed with all the beautiful stuffs in the world. I go to art museums very often and I saw Cézanne, Van Gogh and Rothko not only as my hero, but also good old friends. I also go out for hiking whenever possible to chase the magnificent sunset in Yosemite and to see the snowy mountains in Tibet (very closed to my hometown!).
