Hi!
There’s a place called Kvaka 22, Ruzveltova 39 street. It’s a squat place, they made art space and a club. Tonight it’s some photography gallery and after that live jazz, enterance is 200rsd (1.5€) and drinks are not expencieve. And tomorrow some bands play, never heard of them. Maybe I’ll go there tonight.
Cheers!
Hi Kata!
Sure, there are nice places. My favorite is 'Džezva' in Cara Uroša street. My friends are owners but I'm not promoting it for that sake but because it's really a nice place, with various music and performances. Just around the corner, in Gospodar Jevremova street is Lejla cafe, jazzy, casual place. KC Grad works as a club, cafe, gallery. It's close to Branko's bridge and Sava river. Generally, in Dorćol neighborhood, there are many nice, non-commercial and tourist places. Be sure to visit Zemun part of the city as well. It has lots of restaurants and some nice pubs, clubs as well. in wknd eves most places have live music, like traditional and so. "?" kafana is popular among tourists but hasnt lost its traditional and humble spirit. "Zlatno burence" is also among my favorites, for eating that is (traditional and meat stuff), also has music in wknds.
Hope i helped
Leila, ? Kafana, kc grad, are all touristic places... especially “?” And “kc grad”... But that aside, kc grad is really good
Lejla is not a tourist place. It's an ordinary cozy place. "?" is, but as I said it hasn't lost it's nice spirit and atmosphere.
yes definitely check out Kvaka 22, they even have a tiny museum room with musical instruments and literature from Yugoslavian socialist era, as the building itself used to be repair workshop for musical instruments for military orchestra
Go to Vox Blues Club tonight, you will find good music and cheap beer there.. It's a bit far from the center, but worth it :] http://www.voxbluesclub.com/ and https://web.facebook.com/pg/voxbluesclub/about/
Also check out 'KC Grad' and 'UK Parobrod', they have lots of alternative programs going on.
I saw “kvaka 22” here is popular, and I join the recommendation. Also, you should “meduza” and “cilton”, also “sinnerman” (you can find it on goge and foursquare” Those are all pubs, places. Also, I think there is our national movie festival still going, so check fest belgrade programme.
