Oldie looking for host
Hi, I'm in Calgary for just a day and half a night (early flight) September 18-19, I'm in Canada to visit my daughter (in Banff) and flying out of Calgary.
It would be great to meet someone who lives here and see a bit of Calgary while I'm here briefly, and ideally a place to sleep for just the one night, my flight's early the next morning so I'll be on a taxi early morning!
If you'd like to chat, I'm open-minded and interested in lots of things (e.g. sustainability, repairing stuff, alternative futures, music, natural building etc). My wife and I run a small sustainability education centre in Ireland, where I teach natural building, off-grid power and water systems, basic construction skills etc (it's www.dulra.org)
Although my couchsurfing account is rather sparse, originally when we joined couchsurfing as a family, we used the account @theclan (https://www.couchsurfing.com/c/en/users/THECLAN but I thought it best to use my own one for this trip, since my family are all grown up and I'm traveling on my own (to meet one of my grown-up children as it happens!)
