Dear Cambridge Couchsurfing Hosts,

My name is Timothee, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent request for assistance. We are currently supporting a homeless individual named Kailash Heerah in his challenging situation here in the UK.

Kailash, born in Mauritius, has faced unimaginable hardships, and after four months of homelessness, my brother Emmanuel, a Cambridge PhD student and Foodbank volunteer, extended a helping hand and provided him with shelter.

While we are working on repatriating Kailash, the government's plans have been delayed, leaving him in need of accommodation for the next four weeks. The most affordable option available costs £65 GBP per day, which is beyond our means.

We are kindly asking if any of you could offer temporary accommodation, even for just one night, to help us bridge this gap. My brother, Emmanuel, is more than willing to vouch for Kailash during his stay.
