Need help with a quest at the National Library!
Hello Canberra people,
My name is Eszter, I'm from Hungary, and I have a favour to ask. I'm preparing a geiko (geisha) costume, and I'd like to get the hair as authentic as possible.
There is a book where these hairstyles are explained with pictures, but it is very rare, as it was published only once, in 2004, in 1000 copies. I searched far and wide, and the only places to find it are eBay (for 300 USD - ouchie!) and the National Library of Australia.
I live in Europe and I can't go to Australia in the foreseeable future. Therefore I need someone to go in there, request this book from the Asian collection and take pictures/scan the few pages that are about the hairstyle I need. The book is in English too, so it should not be too complicated.
