Does anyone could tell me how many days do I need to visit Danang and Hoi An? I will be in Hanoi...
and I am planning my 15 days vacation, I have to mention that I do not know anybody in Vietnam, and I have been basically searching on internet the best options in that period of time. So, I see Hoi An is strongly recommended and I would like to include it in my short itinerary. I need to make order to be able to accomplish everything I am planning and also to have a great time. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Depends on you, really. If you like touristy kitsch, stay in Hội An for the full 15 days. :-p Otherwise I think one afternoon plus evening will be more than enough. If you want to have clothes made, you can maybe stay a day more to get it right.

1st day in Da Nang: marble mountain and walk around city, bach dang street, pham van dong beach or thanh binh beach 2nd day: may be bana hills and linh ung pagoda (at this time, seem not good to go bana hill so may be you can hire a motobike and have nice photos on Haivan pass, or try Local food) 3rd: move to Cu Lao Cham by ship and have all day on this island 4th: move to Hoi An by ship from Cu Lao Cham.......

you can have 1 day to visit around Da Nang city.There really beautiful and enjoy modern life style here then go to Hoi An ancient city .😉

Day 1. Da Nang Arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, meet our guide and drive around to have an overview of Da Nang coastal city, visit Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son), discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marble Mountain. You also visit the stone sculpturing village. Continue on to Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain to visit Linh Ung Pagoda and stopover by My Khe beach – classified as one of the most attractive beaches on earth. Check-in your hotel and have dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 2. Da Nang – Hoi An – My Son (B, L)
Morning, depart from your hotel in Da Nang to My Son sanctuary which was once an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries. We travel about 50km to visit My Son sanctuary, visit the ruins towers of Cham people and learn about of architecture of Cham civilization. Spend about 1.5 hour to see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. You will also have chance to enjoy the traditional Apsara dancing of Cham girls.
Drive back to Hoi An town to have lunch and take a walking tour around visiting to the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colorful riverside market. You also see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. Return to your hotel late afternoon.
Day 3. Da Nang – Hue (B, L)
Morning depart from your hotel to Hue (2.5 hours land transfer), on the way to stop for sightseeing the high mountain pass of Hai Van; Lang Co beach; the lagoon far below with Da Nang spread out. On arrival in Hue, start driving to visit one of the tomb of Nguyen Emperors – Minh Mang tomb, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes and tomb of Khai Dinh, a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. Then return to the city to have lunch at a typical Garden House restaurant.
Afternoon, go on to visit the Imperial Citadel with the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh).., leisurely troll through the bustling Dong Ba Market. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hue.
Day 4. Hue – Da Nang (B, L)
This morning you board a boat for a cruise on the Perfume River giving you a taste of the scenic countryside, as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful Pagoda of Thien Mu with its impressive ‘Heavenly Lady’ seven-story tower. Check out your hotel and depart for Da Nang.
Check in your hotel in Da Nang and relax on your own leisure. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5. Da Nang Departure (B)
Free at your own leisure before transferring to Da Nang airport for your departure flight home.

They lend a hand in helping you discovering Da Nang in an easy way. You can stay in Da Nang for 2 or 3 day, if you can drive motobike, It's the best way to travel in Da Nang Place to visit: Hai Van pass: 40km Monkey Island: 20km Marble moutain: 10km My Khe Beach with many fresh seefood restaurant In the evening. you can walk in on Bach Dang street have some drink at loca bar enjoy Han River with many beautifull bright. The next day to Hoi An visit Hoi An old town, My Son Holiland, join cooking class at Cam Thanh eco village, cycleling to visit many countryside like Vegetable village, Kim Bong capentry village, Thanh Ha Potery village, or relaxing on beautyfull An Bang Beach. shopping at night market and you should'n go Cham island in this season, because water on this season is not clean, weather is not stable as well . if you would like to get more information, don't hesitate ask me
