Still haven't booked my flights and I'm not sure what my question is. Leaning Wellington of all cities. My intentions:
Hello all!
I am a writer/actor/comedian/yoga teacher/singer/no label person from India originally but grew up mostly in the US. Recently a free trade agreement passed between India and NZ. hoorah! As an Indian American who has long thought to visit (move?) to New Zealand, if shit hits the fan, (I've heard a few large clunks on the blades lately.) and no "real job," with some meager savings, what are some ways to make income, like ( hostel host, teaching basketball, or tutoring, or construction labor) while I try to grow a network of trusted people to make business deals. Basically matching supply and demand blah blah, and working together with other cool people blah blah. If I pull the trigger (no worries I won't bring any guns from Texas) I would be arriving in Wellington on around April 30th, and plan to stay for atleast around a month. Booking a one way for now. Sort of wild, yes.
Also true story, someone in the trader joe's (grocery chain) parking lot threw a rock at me this morning. And so I ran. Fligth of the Conchords is also a nice show and I helped load Kristin Schall"s trunk after a show once. (Literal boot I guess you'd say, not metaphor)
Sincerely,
Praneeth
