Some of the Bangalore CS members have been organising the weekly local meet since 2008. It has come a long way since. The meet has always seen 20 or more couchsurfers; with a few exceptions on certain days where there would be 2-3 couchsurfers but that's a rare scenario. There is nothing official about this CS meet. It is just a platform to provide the CS-ers - Locals, non-locals ;-), expats or travellers to come together and know each other. Talk about their travel plans,share their experiences in travels, give advice,tips, and find someone to travel with or just enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow travellers. Any CS-er who is in Bagalore on a wednesday can pop-in: It is an open meet in a pub and you need no permission to show up.
