I heard palaces are free on Culture Day, the last Wednesday of every month, so let’s go explore! Description from Seoul Tourism Guide: The most underrated of the five palaces, and a local favorite for that reason. Originally built as a residence for queens and royal concubines, Changgyeonggung feels more intimate and peaceful than its grander siblings. The botanical greenhouse, built in 1909, is one of the oldest modern structures in Korea. Night openings during spring and autumn are particularly atmospheric.
