The Hindi Vikas Mandal (HVM) hosts an annual Dussehra festival featuring a traditional Ramleela performance on stage at the Hindu Society of North Carolina (HSNC) hall. The celebration concludes with the Ravan Dahan, where an effigy of the demon king Ravan is burned in the parking lot to symbolize the victory of good over evil.
