Hike around Gaisberg via Bierhelderhof

Dear all, let's go hike and explore again! After our February's tour to sites of Heiligenberg's earth- and regional history, on this circular trail I intend to show and share with you some (at least in my eyes amazing) secrets of our forest and it's ecosystem. Together with a bunch of other hiking enthousiasts from all around the world we will go up and around Gaisberg along the foot of Königsstuhl via Bierhelderhof where we will enjoy some beautiful views and lush nature. On our way I intend to stop on a forest clearing for a short snack break. So if you like, consider to bring something to eat and to sit on with you. Afterwards we head back to Heidelberg. With breaks, I expect it will take us around 4-4.5 hours. The length requires some stamina, but as there isn't much steep uphill it should be manageable for most hikers. What to bring: weather appropriate attire, water, good shoes (ideally hiking shoes with good ankle support as a few of the paths might be a bit uneven and muddy.
