I miss the weekly Fika meetings, but arranging a CS event every week is too much for me (I host a lot of other stuff), so I'm hosting a monthly meeting here at my cafe, Llama Lloyd. All couchsurfers are always welcome to swing by any other time, though, haha. It's an open cafe after all, and I'm always the guy behind the counter. We're honoring the language and culture of this fine country. "Fika" is a Swedish word. There isn't any equivalent word in English, but it's a word that describes what people do when they go for a cup of coffee (accompanied with a cake or cookie, if this pleases you). And have a nice chat of course. It is said to be one of the most common (spoken) words in Swedish and it's what this event is all about. The event takes place at Llama Lloyd, a cultural café owned by Robin who is also an active couchsurfer. Robin will be present at every meeting so just ask for your fellow couchsurfers at the counter. Take a tram (5, 6, 10) or bus to Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen, cross the tram track and go under the motorway, the road that starts there is Herkulesgatan. Follow that for about 400 meter then take a right at Väderkvarnsgatan. Llama Lloyd is located at the next intersection, at no 16. You don't need to pre-register for the event but do click on the join button to let others know you are coming.
