The Essex and Suffolk Couchsurfing Group enjoy welcoming new people to their friendly group. We often have international surfers join us for events. We enjoy exploring different parts of these two beautiful counties. This event starts with a short stroll around West Mersea before we find a spot for a picnic on the sandy beach. Please note: Starting time is for those surfers coming on the 55/63 bus from Colchester. These buses arrive between 12.15 and 12.30. The end time is for those catching the 55 back.at 17.27. The length of the event depends upon the weather. Please bring a picnic item to share with the group. There are shops/pubs in the area but these could be expensive. If you want to, bring a frisbee or ball to play games. Sun screen, Hat, Water if a hot day. There may not be a lot of shade around. If we have enough transport we may be able to drive to East Mersea and explore around there too before dropping people back to catch their bus back to Colchester.
