ABOUT ME I am a fun, open minded and organized guy but sometimes twist the rules as long as it means having fun.
(Updated on 05/04/26, 08:20am) I’m an easygoing and open-minded person who genuinely enjoys meeting and hosting people from different cultures. Couchsurfing has been a great way for me to connect with individuals from all walks of life. For me, it’s not just about offering a place to stay,it’s about sharing experiences, good conversations, and giving guests a real glimpse of local life in Lesotho. That said, hosting also comes with its own challenges. I’ve learned that reviews aren’t always fully honest, and sometimes people form opinions based on their perceptions of a country rather than the individual. Because of this, I value honesty, mutual respect, and clear communication,it helps create a better experience for everyone. I haven’t been hosted myself yet, but I continue to open my home to travelers while learning more about the realities of budget travel. When you stay with me, I appreciate a sense of gratitude and understanding, this is a home, not a hotel or Airbnb. Please note that I no longer offer a private room. Guests sleep in the living room, where I provide a mattress, clean blankets, access to the bathroom, kitchen, and WiFi to make your stay comfortable. I’m someone who has my own way of doing things, so please always ask before using anything in the house, especially appliances, as some may work differently. Safety matters to me, and I like to keep things simple and clear. Basic house etiquette is important: washing hands before using the kitchen, keeping things clean, and leaving shoes by the door (indoor shoes are available). I also value privacy and respect when it comes to photos and videos. Please ask before taking or posting pictures of me or my friends, and be mindful of what you share online. We all have personal and professional lives, and consideration goes a long way. To make your stay smooth, please plan your own meals where possible, as my schedule can be busy. I provide access to the kitchen, but I prefer to handle certain chores myself to maintain my standards. Personal hygiene and cleanliness are non-negotiable. Ultimately, let’s make this experience work for both of us. Mutual respect, honesty, and good energy create the best stays and connections. Note: To confirm you’ve read and understood my house rules, please start your message with “Hello T.”
My name is Léopold, I am 24 years old, and for a reason I ignore, all the things which happened between October 2024 and May 2026 (hosting / surfing) seems to have been cancelled...* So I'm trying to be back on couchsurfing! I love meeting people, exchanging, and learning new things from those I meet (maybe you?). I also love to keep in touch by writing postcards, so that I can feel like I keep travelling with those I hosted / who hosted me ^^ Other things I love; history, stamps, discovering songs, and going around borders. And I noticed this is the case of many couchsurfers :) *Edit: I just understood something; part of my profile is now on a different profile, where there are some more references (that's weird...): https://www.couchsurfing.com/c/users/leopold72665363

Hi, I’m an accounting student from Lesotho 🇱🇸 juggling part-time work and studies, which leaves me little time for socializing—so I thought, why not connect here? On Sundays, you’ll usually find me chilling with my dogs, watching anime—a tradition I wouldn’t trade for the world. If you have recommendations, let’s swap ideas! I’m all about humor and fun, so if we cross paths, be prepared for laughter—it’s my secret recipe for a good time. I believe every great memory comes with a good story, like my misadventures with alcohol: let’s just say I’ve learned my lesson and am proudly alcohol-free now.
CURRENT MISSION to interact with people

Hello dear friend! My name is Léopold, I’m originally from France, with Taiwanese roots, and I currently live in Vilnius where I work at a French school. I have just completed my master's degree in political science. I’m passionate about discovering new cultures, and for me, the best way to do so is through the people I meet. I love to walk around new places (I'd say I especially love to explore new cities thanks to my legs and those I meet there), exploring hidden corners and soaking in the local atmosphere—there’s something magical about being immersed in a place by connecting with people who often share much more than we might expect :) Traveling for me is about all the memories that are generated, the conversations, the friendships we make along the way. I enjoy sharing my experiences and would be happy to swap stories of where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, and what I've learned from the people I've met. I'm interested in history, art, and nature are all things I love to dive into. I’m also love old things—whether it's vintage postcards, stamps, or even old advertisements. I'd be happy to share about the French or Taiwanese perspective on things, I’m always up for a thoughtful conversation and love hearing about your own country, your culture, and what’s important to you. Thank you very much for reading, and remember: “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” :-) (quote from the Dalai-Lama :))
