I really enjoy good company and conversation on a bar. I used to live in Rio de Janeiro, city I know very well and love making touristic programs myself, but for the past couple of years I'm living and learning Porto Alegre. Sometimes I go to discos but the ones that plays alternative, indie rock and pop music. I don't look like a Brazilian and Carioca (people from Rio de Janeiro) but I am! I prefer going to the beach to take a walk or riding a bike... or to sit and watch the sunset rather than being cooked by the sun : ) I work on a multinational cigarette company. I have an older sister and I am married to my smart, handsome, badass husband : ) I don't do drugs, excepts lots of alcohol, but I fight for legalization. PHILOSOPHY Very direct, rational, open and always connecting people.

I'm looking to take some time out of my life to travel. I grew up in a pub in the heart of the English countryside, and spent a lot of my free time either helping my father work on the village engines (cars, tractors, etc), reading, going on hiking/camping trips, and lending a helping hand to the local farms. I just want to find a way of life that takes me to incredible places and people across the globe. I want to meet people who enjoy music, literature, laughing, and heated philosophical debates - people who just appreciate the perks of life in general. I don't want to look back on my life when I'm sixty and regret that I didn't 'do that', 'go there', and 'meet them'. I am a bartender at the moment, though I've had several volunteer jobs too: librarian, tour guide, book store assistant, Performing Arts teacher. I can make great cocktails, and get along with people easily. I want to be a film director one day. I have been an author for a few years (I've been writing stories since I was a very little girl, I've had some short stories published, and I am currently working on my second novel - I had to scrap my first one because it fell apart a bit).

Aloha :) I partly grew up on Bruny Island, where my dad lived, but I later moved to Europe for school and have been living and working in Austria for the past few years. I haven’t been back to Tasmania in 10 years and since I’ll be in-between jobs I want to take the opportunity to come back this summer to reconnect with this incredible island :) I’m 25 years old and have a deep love for the ocean, the outdoors, community living, and traveling through volunteering. I consider myself energetic, positive, open-minded, and always ready to tackle any challenge! Previously, I have been involved in various nature conservation projects, worked on farms and festivals, gained some experience in forestry and had the opportunity to participate in many different workaway projects, mainly in Australia, Canada, Austria, Germany, Spain, Greece, Canada and Cape Verde. Professionally, I studied marine microbiology and currently work in science communication and project management.

Hello this is Juri, who's there? Oh, hello! Lovely to meet you, too - let me introduce myself. I'm a neuroscience graduate, now PhD student, into grappling, flying gliders, climbing, trance and experimental music. I play the piano when I have one around, and love anything from classical to hip-hop and electronic music. Converted a van together with my dad (thanks dad!) that I now live in. Will have to see about hosting in that setup, so it’s just surfing for now. As much as possible!
