CURRENT MISSION To encourage people to realise how important other people are. I am inspired by the people I meet and I pass on that goodness through couchsurf hosting, meaningful connections and having a good time... who knows the domino effect that may take place... the kindness of strangers is very powerful. ABOUT ME I'm a little weird (but concious of the fact), I have a quirky personality and a home and a bunch of friends to match... I have no sense of dress. I love meeting new people. I can be a little deep-and-meaningful sometimes if you ask the right questions. I have changed big careers and somewhat still unsettled. Born in London and lived my whole life out of a bag, I'm now half settled in Liverpool. Although I still love going back to London every now and then. I love with my parter in a beautiful green part of the city where we live a mixture of chill seasonal vibes. PHILOSOPHY I have many travel/life experiences that have personally affected me, I try and share those with others to spread the wise-ness (is that a word?). But they aren't all doom and gloom stories! Ha! Pass kindness on.... Finally, say yes more, life begins at the end of your comfort zone. I’m a very active host in Liverpool. Please read all this page before messaging me: I run a removals company - it keeps me busy! (I mainly work from home). So, in my recreation time I love the traveling life and it’s community. I like to host respectful people with good positive vibes. I’m friendly, accommodating and enjoy a laugh. I like to cook for guests. Some guests like to cook too which is great! I have an open plan kitchen (kitchen and lounge in one - great to socialise and cook at the same time). I enjoy the odd cold beer or a good hot cuppa tea / hot chocolate and good conversation. When you arrive make yourself at home and anything you need just ask. For example, happy to put your clothes in my washer / a fresh towel or ask for the WiFi code. I have also accepted last minute requests in the past. So …. Back in the day this app was free .. surfers where so cool and into a genuine culture exchange. We would go for walks / cook together / go for a drink / a club / even church (as one guest wanted to). Now there are more and more guests and it feels like a Air b n b. Like a commercial exchange. People have paid and now they want a service/ free accommodation and it breaks my heart. I’ve run an Air b n b and I don’t like the vibe. Too much like a business transaction. If you want an Air b n b experience then with respect and dignity please don’t apply to stay with me. I love the couch surfing vibe, the way it used to be and if you don’t know what I mean, well, that’s a shame. I’ve been hosting since 2019 and have seen the change and I’m not a fan. CURRENT MISSION Traveling/getting to know other cultures, people, and enrich my knowledge and wisdom from these journeys. I have not been brave enough to travel on my own, for too long. I've always waited for the right traveling buddies, right time to travel. The truth is that once you decide to leave your house and follow the journey, amazing things, people and experiences are right around the corner, ready to greet you. I'm grateful to this life and this world and to the CS community. ABOUT ME I’m 39 and still learning how to become a grown-up, sometimes. I live in the UK, now and work in a doctors practice, as a first contact physiotherapist. I love my job and working with people. I haven't travel as much as desired but I am working on this. I looove cooking and enjoying food. I have my own garden/green house and I must admit that I m really good in gardening. I love growing tomatoes and pumpkins 😏🙃.
