I'm a rather quiet person and often caught in my own thoughts. When I do talk, I love using sarcasm. (Please tell me if sarcasm sign is required to communicate.) People describe me as nice, loyal and welcoming. My interests and emotions show in the details I surround myself with - merch, decorations, shirts etc. Nero (my dog) is (likely) a small dackel-mix from the streets of Romania. He barks and pretends to be dangerous when he's scared or insecure (especially towards men). Besides that a very cute pet who is easy to bribe (with food) and loves attention. We enjoy walks in the nature, photographie and travels (as far as the car can get us). 2 or 3 times a year I also visit an anime convention and to promote my writing, book cons and meetups with other authors as well. My dream has always been to see the world and I still haven't given up on it. I just postponed it, to stay at my dog's side as long as I have him. This is why I like to open my doors for couchsurfers. I enjoy hearing of other travel experiences and help others afford to travel as well.

I am 28 years old and live in Mannheim with my cat. I finished my studying for a master's degree in Waldorf education with a focus on inclusion. And I am currently working as a research assistant seconded to the Bundestag. I love to travel in my free time and discovered my love for the USA and the national parks in 2023. We love to travel with our two sons (born in June 2021 and 2024). They both already visited a lot of countries with us and we want to have an open flat for travellers, so that they get to know other people and customs, while we stay at home. And don't worry, they are very curious to get to know other people. Otherwise, we would never dare to do couchsurfing with them.

„A stranger is just a friend we haven‘t met yet.“ I‘m a student from Germany. I discovered my interest in traveling when I spent 6 months in southeast Asia. Since then I know, that I‘m not the type of person who does all inclusive vacations at resorts. I love to meet new people, experience the country, the food and the culture. My trips are usually more adventures and spontaneous. I try to do couchsurfing or hitchhiking and most of the time I‘m not planning or booking anything in advance. I just go to the country and see what happens. It‘s often more difficult but it‘s very rewarding. This is how I had the best adventures on my trips. I meet beautiful people who show me there country or other travelers and we explore the country together :)

Hey:) I started this account with my best friend Charlotte while we were having our best time travelling South East Asia and Australia. We met the most amazing people on couchsurfing and had the chance to make heaps of amazing memories. I really love meeting new people and using couchsurfing makes travelling even more special and the experiences more unique.
