As a guest I am a good balance of quiet and loud, I do not drink alcohol (but will gladly join you at your local pub and have some non-alcoholic beverages with you), I do my best to support local businesses, and always have a smile on my face. I'm also pretty flexible when it comes to schedules so no need to feel bad about having to wake me up at 6:00am to go to work. I keep my profile on "accepting guests" as I am always open to having travellers around however please remember that I do have a life here in Vancouver and cannot host everyone all the time. Note that due to the nature of my work my schedule is all over the place so be prepared to be flexible. I also prefer to host people who have common interests with me and who I would most likely get along with. Advanced notice is also preferred but I can be flexible in terms of dates. In short, I don't want anyone to take it personally if I refuse your request to stay with me. It is free after all ;) Generic and copy/paste requests that do not tell me your reasons for requesting to stay with me specifically will automatically be declined. I receive many requests that do not even include my name, those people get blocked. Note that I only accept queer couchsurfers who are travelling solo as this is how I gay-it-forward to my community. Furthermore, I strongly prefer to host folks who identify as gay and male. I will decline you if you do not fit within this category. Please understand that this is nothing personal and I try my best to respond to everyone, even if it's just to decline their request.

CURRENT LIFE Right now I am biking across Europe with two friends and we are traveling from the south of Spain to the north of Norway over a three-month duration period as such I'm unable to host but I am available to meet up. We are looking for hosts about once a week to get some rest commentarged devices, shower, and be dry, otherwise, we are doing a lot of wild camping. If I am in your country than don't hesitate to reach out and feel free to ask to meet up, especially if you're able to host. ABOUT ME To start, I graduated from an engineering program at the University of Waterloo back in 2016. After living in the same city for 12 years I decided I needed to move so I could keep exploring this wonderful world. I'm now located around Vancouver, BC. I enjoy staying active and playing sports which is why everyday I'm on my bike and any chance I get I'll be out hiking, tossing around a frisbee, or being active somehow. Hitting up some scenic trails or rough terrain is always a blast. I am not much for watching sports on TV but I will play just about any of them. Would be interested in going out for a bike ride, long hike, camping trip, or an activity on the water. I enjoy cold beer on a hot day and the occasional joint. Hey Travellers! If you send a request I am having trouble responding. I can find the chat access on my phone but on my computer, it doesn’t appear. I usually respond 100% of the time. We will be traveling all summer so you can request in June but we will be away in July and August. Not sure how to block my calendar for days away. We travelled Feb 2024-August 2024 to Africa and Asia. A dream adventure we were lined up to do in 2020, when, well you know what happened. Four years later all four of us opened our schedules to go! Despite our busy work schedules, and out of town family visits, we love to welcome travellers into our home. We have hosted and been hosted many times and it has shaped who we are as a family. Couchsurfing is a meaningful, enjoyable part of our life. About us: We are a family of four who love traveling and being active. Our go to activities are x-c skiing and hockey in the winters, hiking and biking in the summer. We prefer hosting 1-3 nights so we are able to host more of you. I am born and brought up in a small but densely populated country called Bangladesh. I first started traveling abroad at the age of 27 and got hooked into it! Since then I've been abroad frequently and even lived in Russia for my professional project for 3 years before moving to Toronto in 2022. It has been an amazing experience to adapt to such a contrasting culture, language and weather :) For an original introvert and a converting extrovert, I find fulfilment in exploring the unknown and believe people are the heart of happiness.
