CURRENT MISSION I think Im writing a book but not quite sure what it will look like. Cant say Im well experienced in such matters. So for now just doing research on culture, history, peoples' habits, food, the odd beer, comedy, music, that sort of thing. Very interested in spending time with anyone brave enough to educate, humour or make fun of me. ABOUT ME Can generally be found following my nose around the world, which I find a particularly fascinating place. Reasonably well brought up, which probably translates to general politeness and respect for people and their property. Good sense of adventure and will turn up with both some sort of alcohol gift and a general fitting-in-ness attitude when surfing. Will put toilet seat down for ladies. PHILOSOPHY Be nice. Learn stuff.

CURRENT MISSION Live life to the fullest, Be brave and never walk in any one's shadow ABOUT ME I was born in Sri-lanka and have traveled extensively in Asia, central Europe, Australia, Pacific Islands and moved to New Zealand in 1999. I enjoy travelling very much and have hosted some travelers as well as being the guest in a few countries. I quit my corporate slavery in 2013 when I realized life has a better meaning and purpose! Since then, I have enjoyed number of motorcycle expeditions in Asia and now spend more time travelling and less time working on short contracts. I try to do atleast one motorbike trip overseas and in my leisure time, travel around New Zealand in my motorhome. PHILOSOPHY Have trust, faith and hope.

Become a pro comedian. Go to Antarctica. ABOUT ME We can talk about anything from politics to fart jokes (which are kind of the same I guess). I love celebrating our differences and finding a common ground. I love writing poetry (so I'm kind of like a rapper if you think about it). I love karaoke, dancing, surfing, swimming, snorkelling, cooking, hiking, camping - not necessarily in that order. All kidding aside, I try to live in the moment and be 100% engaged in the conversations that I am in. The lessons, inspiration, and shift in mindset you can get from people can be life-changing - only if you are alert enough and listen to what they say. So my motto about the people I meet is: 'People come to our lives for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime. Almost as short as the Hobbits my country is so famous for ✨ I was bitten by wanderlust in my teenage years, which doesn't seem to go away as I'm sure most of you know! Some more early and long-lasting passions of mine are film and music, dance (although, I'm not so good at it myself), theatre, history and museums, star-gazing, theatre (performing and watching), nature, simple pleasures, good food, meaningful conversation, and a spiritual approach to life. 🪻
