Jul '26: Back in Sicily! ----------- I’m a curious girl and lover of slow travels! I like to visit places in the nature and out of the touristic path. I have spent the past few years, after my graduation, travelling and living couple months in different places and then moving. Did seasonal jobs in between and worked/ volunteered in the humanitarian sector with refugees and migrants. Lived with different ppl and in different locations and come to the conclusion I love the community life; strongly believe the human being is a social animal. 🌞🌞🌞I enjoy a lot nature, the sun, the sea, good veg food, spontaneous adventures, doing yoga, walking and wandering around, gardening, dogs and more things which you can discover once we meet✨ 🌻🌻🌻Connections with adventurous, spontaneous and easygoing people are my favourite!:)

Hello everyone ☀️ This is me, an Italian girl who loves to travel 🙈 I can’t help it: my life is meant to be lived on the road. I feed my soul with curiosity, new cultures, new people. I just love being a student of life. I’m always looking for some new adventure and I love listening to incredible stories from travelers. I love cooking and share food with people :) I’m vegetarian but I’m also happy to use fantasy and to adapt recipes and find alternatives to meat 🍀🍃 You can double check my profile on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/aisha_scanferla/?hl=it
Hello everybody! My name is Luca from Giarre, a beautiful town near the sea. I am a open mind person, I have traveled the world and continue to do it without stopping ✈️ I love meeting new people, sharing experiences and traveling together. * In Sicily for the winter. Hi. Here is both a planet and a galaxy. A star and a black hole. Here is the prayer and the prayer. Here is both une personne et personne en particulier. The more I live the barer and deeper life becomes. Where there used to be adjectives and desires, now I just want to be a gentle primate, intimate with all parts of life, close to nature. I doubt there are words for that, but I'm curious to keep trying. While everyone around me grows up, I seem to be growing down, back to where I belong. It feels like a good use of my days. I love making a big deal of : beauty, the disregarded, elements touching, textures, webs, what's waiting to be unfolded, what can't be labeled. I love being around people who make a big deal of what matters to them too. In the end I would like to have been astonished, lived mostly from the heart, made people feel safe and seen, be equally awake and patient, and be courageous enough to start again. I spent a lot of time welcoming, knowing and loving all the animals in me. Wisdom grew from befriending this wilderness. It brings me a lot of joy when they recognize yours and all feel beautiful and free. I am more interested in raw and real than nice and comfortable. This brought me to literature, yoga, buddhism, living in the woods, and Couchsurfing, with all the risks they ask of us. I believe breaking is a gift that allows us to remain permanently open and so I try to welcome all breaking points and tides, through travelling creating or connecting, for I know they will mend me in the end.
My name is Rosario but I prefer to be called simply Saro. I am an history degree who by chance started to work in an hostel and then as a tour guide in Sicily. I am a simple person who enjoys the human experience, really love to have a glass of wine (I love wine!) and an interesting person to talk with (crazy parties times are gone!)...time is of the essence so I love to spend it doing what I love: learning, staying in nature and beauty, meeting interesting people... Ok...I' don't know what to say about me...I'm a very simple and uncomplicated guy, drink with me, give me a smile and we'll be friends :) I know my area really well and is many years that I work in tourism field...so if you need any information or help just ask, I'll be happy to answer if I can. I live in a small town at the feet of Mt. Etna, where the volcano is a really predominant presence. If I am free is a pleasure for me to go with guests in nice places, especially where you would not go following a travel guide. If I am busy here is not easy to move, you have to go out with me and from the nearest train station you can easily get in the main places here around (Catania, Acireale, Taormina, Messina, Siracusa). PHILOSOPHY: QUALUNQUE COSA TU VOGLIA FARE, QUALUNQUE SOGNO TU VOGLIA REALIZZARE. BASTA CHE NON CI SCASSI LA MINCHIA TRANSLATED: LIVE AND LET LIVE...LOVE AND DO WHAT YOU WANT
I’m a 35-year-old with a passion for discovery and connection. After completing my university studies, I began working in a winery on the slopes of Mount Etna, a place that has always captivated me with its raw beauty and powerful presence. Working as a sommelier in such a unique setting has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of wine and meet people from all over the world. I have a wide range of interests that enrich my life and keep me constantly learning. One of the most important is scouting, which I’ve been involved in since I was a child. It has taught me values like respect for others and a love for adventure. Music is another passion of mine—I’ve been playing bass guitar for years, and I see it as a powerful way to express emotions and connect with people. Additionally, I practice Aikido, a martial art that has helped me cultivate both physical discipline and mental balance. Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about learning English, driven by my desire to connect with people from different cultures and explore the world. This has been invaluable during my travels, which are a cornerstone of my life. I’ve had the privilege of visiting many countries and experiencing unforgettable adventures, which I’d love to share with you if we get the chance to meet.
