I live in Tübingen/Germany and work as a software developer at an international company. As the most people here, I really love to travel but I started to travel only one or let's say, two years ago, so I have to catch up a lot 😁 Usually I travel alone and meet people at couchsurfing hangouts. I want to get to know people from other countries and also practice my language skills 😊
I am a rich man: I speak eight languages (including my mother tongue). It is like having eight cars in my yard. Most of them have cost me over a year of work. Unfortunately, I use only one of them day and night. It is powerful and and of stunning manoeuvrability. Obviously, this is my mother tongue. Furthermore, there is my Запорожець. Yes, I mean it: one of those rear-wheel-drive boneshakers. However, she is in very good condition because I take her on a ride to visit my friends once or twice a week. Only do I have to think about her – and whoosh! The engine is rumbling in the yard. Two of them I don't use although most of them are running in incredible perfection until this very day: my Citroën and my DAF. I just take a seat, turn the key and vroom! Their engines sound so fucking good! Every time, it gives me a thrill. And then I'm not riding anywhere. They do not fit to Germany's roads. It is a pity. It does not any good to any foreign language lazing away the days: the tires lose air and the wheel housings gets rusty. Since 2016, I do some nice weekend trips with my Polonez, although my Citroën would drive five times better. In spring 2017, I built a new car. I call it my النصر. The steering works quite well - but the engine is stuttering as hell and gets stalled by almost nothing. "To much work" I thought. I am getting old. Anyhow, the wheel housings won't get rusty because there is no. But wait! What's this? Isn't there a car in my yard I have never ever tried yet? It's an ГАЗ-24 «Волга». Old, but original. And the best thing about: it running. It won't win any race. Но, тише едешь, дальше будешь. You cannot imagine my joy: eight cars!

ABOUT ME curious, passionate, caring, outdoorsy, cat-loving, artistically minded, creative, ambitious student&professional, music lover, passionate traveller, ... and more to find out :-) PHILOSOPHY My personal philosophy is always influenced by books that I read, people that I meet, insights that I gain, etc. I do therefore only wanna name a few quotes, that have recently impressed, influenced or touched me :-) The good life is a process, not a state of being. (Carl Rogers) Das Leben kommt immer dazwischen. (Auma Obama) Be yourself - everyone else is already taken. (Oscar Wilde) You don't have to prove anything to anyone. (Alexandra Stoddard) Don't assume anything. (Alexandra Stoddard) We used to be same age, now I´m much younger. (unknown) Having a soft heart in a harsh world is courage, not weakness. Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.
Hi! I'm Yvonne, 28 years old and I'm from Southern Germany. Generally I try to travel as much as I can and I really like to get to know the places and people :) Hola! I’m a cheerful, and outgoing person, living in the centre of Tübingen. I enjoy traveling and spending time with open-minded, unconventional individuals, exchanging life and travel experiences. In 2019, I spent several months in India, studying Gender, Culture & Development at Savitribai Phule Pune University for one semester. During this time, I connected with many inspiring and kind people through Couchsurfing, which allowed me to experience the country through the eyes of locals and make meaningful friendships. After finishing my studies, I traveled solo across India for a few more weeks and fell in love with its beauty, spicy cuisine, and warm-hearted people. I firmly believe that traveling is one of the best ways to learn—both from personal experiences and from the people you meet. Depending on your approach, travel can significantly broaden your perspective and enrich your mindset. These days, I usually travel with my partner, Rey, who is a musician specializing in drums and percussion and also works as a drum teacher. We both love salsa dancing and hope to offer dance lessons someday. MY PHILOSOPHY: Sharing is caring. Be the change you want to see in this world.
I am a calm, patient person and love being out and about and getting to know new things. I started learning horseriding 8 years ago. I like to talk to people about a variety of things... life stories, traveling, healthy lifestyles, movies, books... two years ago I started jogging and it really captivated me. Unfortunately, due to injuries, I have now become a "walker". My three children are now independent and so I would like to travel more again and discover countries and its people.
