It is a huge privilege to be able to explore the remote and the vivid places of our marvelous planet. I'm on and off in Munich or near Stuttgart this summer.. still looking forward to hosting or hanging out! Can't upload more recent pictures as my CS is bugging..but I swear I have more than one shirt xD I'm that type of guy who rescues earthworms from the road. All in all a positive attitude, love for challenges. I'm an endless source of useless information. I love to laugh and I'm passionate about doing sports and enjoying good food. After school I was working for two years with horses and mules. Giving me enough savings for low budget travels. My favourite mediums of transport are bicycle, hitchhiking, ferry and railroad. Basically all my stuff is second hand. I try to save resources and waste. At home I'm vegetarian. On the road I want to try all the local dishes. 2022 I started a one year long back/bikepacking journey through mainly Turkiye, Iran, Pakistan and India made possible by CS and hospitality mainly. 2024 second sabbatical. I took the Transiberian Railroad and backpacked through Mongolia to Beijing with my buddy. Then I solocycled through South Korea and Japan. I went on trains through China, hitchhiked through SEA and rushed home through Central Asia after a month in Afghanistan.
sorry if I don’t reply straight away, but sometimes I can’t access my profile. My whole bio has disappeared – well, I suppose you’ll just have to get to know me in person then
Servus - Hi - Hello - Hola! - Ciao! - Merhaba! -Nǐhǎo - Olá! - Hallo - Hej! - Grüß Gott - Dav! - Hiya -Ahoj! Chum reap suor! "Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show". I always like to hang out with people from froeign countries, learn about different cultures and visit friends all around the world. Someday I want to have an alpaca. I love travelling, meeting new people and listening to people's stories. I think the best way to get a "free" mind is TRAVELLING. In my free time I'm teaching swimming to kids, work as a postman, go hiking, do sports and visit different cities. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to. Respect is earned, not given. CURRENT MISSION "There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for" - JRR. Tolkien Life always puts stones in your way. Collect them and build a path with them. Think about the good things in life. Surround yourself with people and things you like. Forget people who are not worth to fight for. Be happy ! Stay humble :) I really love the chance of meeting people from many nations around the world. It's inspiring and enriches me a lot. I'm always open to meet people from every country, no matter from where you are ! Living my life ! Travelling as much as possible! Meeting inspiring people ! Making people happy! Those are kind of my "guidlines" in my life. For me it's not important how someone looks like. Just tell me your story and be yourself then I'm pretty sure we'll get along. "Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before“ – Dalai Lama. My aim is it to do it more than once a year ! :) I also want to walk the GR10, the Camino de Santiago or cycle through Europe someday ! WHO AM I ? Hard to describe myself without sounding selfish but I will try it : SPONTANEOUS SPIRIT, down-to-earth, Open-minded, relaxed, introvert easy-going, calm, laid back, respectful and friendly. So I think it's easy to get along with me. However I prefer bars/pubs instead of clubs although I don't like alcohol. Its just the taste of it - I don't like it. I also don't smoke. https://www.facebook.com/andreas.reingruber Instagram: andreasreingruber How my LIFE will look like in the future ? - I don't really know. Sure I have some thoughts about what I can do in the next years. Let's see. Making plans is not always the best! Most time you feel constricted because of them. When I'm travelling I ususally don't make any plans about places to see in the countries. I listen to advice of locals and then go there. I did it eg. on my trip through Spain. It was really great - DECIDE on one day what you'll do the other day. PHILOSOPHY "No amount of money or material possessions could ever replace the FRIENDSHIPs and EXPERIENCEs we create by travelling." "Don't make promises you can't keep! " "It's not really money that makes you richer, it's more the experience you gain." "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. EXPLORE! DREAM! DISCOVER!" - Mark Twain "At the end we regret the chances we didn't take! "

✨️Embrace the simplicity, Savor the present, Fight the inner demons, Finding peace amid chaos, Slow living - A conscious journey of soulful connection, gratitude, harmony with nature's rhythms leading to more peaceful existence ✨️ Born and brought up in India. I lived there for 24 years and have explored a lot in India (Still more than 75% to explore😅). Although I had a lot of physical problems in my life (partial paraplegia), i am proud that i came this far in my life without any regrets and with all the positivity and will power. Life is an everyday adventure for me. I am ready for future adventures 🤩 In 2016, got an opportunity to pursue my Master studies in Munich. Grabbed this opportunity with both the hands and have been living here since then. Traveled a lot while I was studying. (Thanks to the student ID card which is like a gift coupon in Europe for student travelers🤑). I can show you my travel diary too if you are interested. I completed my studies in 2019. And then,........ (Be my guest/host me/meet me and you will know more😜) I like to talk about Philosophy spirituality astronomy languages art. (You can follow me on insta and check out my Art work @shreyasnp) Not a party guy. But it all depends on the mood at that moment 🤩 Open for everything. Live the moment. If you can teach me dance, then i love you more because that's one thing i want to try with my paraplegia of legs 😍 (Dance as if no one is watching). Love swimming too and started going to concerts. Kind and open hearted and non-judgemental, gratitude and acceptance are my values. A solo host/guest looking for kind and open minded people around to build real connection and immerse myself in local culture and the nature.
ABOUT ME I’ve lived in Germany since 2017. My German experience started at 2013 as an exchange student, doing PhD in 2017-2021 and then now work in semiconductor industry as a development engineer. Travel style changed from budget backpacker to solo traveller with a slow, relaxed spirit…as I become more financially comfortable and more…aged(!?). There is one thing never change, that is to spend my time with local and do as local do, or at least hang out with travellers together, see which chance I get. I found that most of my impressive travel experience are coming without plans, theis motivated myself from an organized traveller to a casual, traveller without fixed schedules. Apart from that, I am very much into international political discussions, due to the fact that I am a Taiwanese hehe. Would like to know all kinds of perspectives for topics such as countries, refugees, immigrants, left/right political spectrums, labor, history…basically all! PHILOSOPHY Mountains never meet but people do. The saying I learned during my volunteer work in Tanzania.
Egyptian living in Germany since 2019 (NRW/Munich). Genuine, open-minded, and here for real cultural exchange. Love creative spirits and kind souls. Let’s share more than a couch! ✨
Looking forward to meeting you! I have a single-room apartment close to the center of Munich. There's sleeping space for 3 (including me) or 4 (if you don't mind being tight and cozy). It is a common/shared sleeping space so I exist in the same room as you. :) From Munich Central Station/ Flixbus ZOB, it's 20 minutes by foot. I will send you the exact location in the messages. Just for reference, you can find Hochschule München for a rough idea of where the apartment is. Just a normal person who likes to meet interesting people and learn and appreciate cultural differences or nuances. *Please do not be offended if I decline your request without a reply (:* I have been living in Germany (Munich specifically) since 2016. I graduated from TU Munich and currently working full-time in the semiconductor sector. I am originally from Karachi, Pakistan (South-East Asia) so I have experienced both Eastern and Western cultures. I am an ambivert who likes to hang out with my friends, loves to engage in subjective conversations, and is interested in making long-term acquaintances. I am an uncomplicated host, love to share my experiences and culture (music, arts, language, food), and listen to other people's experiences. If you share a cultural nuance that is new to me, your first coffee is on me! I like the concept of existentialism. Are we in this world for a reason, does anything matter at all, should we do good, or what is in fact 'good'? Of course, there is no answer to such questions but I like to hear what other people think about them.
Originally from Tunisia, I emigrated to Europe long time ago, first to Italy and then I lived for some time in Austria. I moved to Berlin in 2016 and then Munich in 2021 where I am currently employed as a researcher. I am an amateur photographer and a foodie. So I am always up for some photoshooting (Portraits/Landscape) and urban exploration. I like walking in the city and the feeling of getting lost. Trying new restaurants, coffee places and cool bars is my second quest in Munich as there are a mind blowing number of them here. If you want to have a brunch/dinner or even coffee I would love to join you. My home is located near Am Moosfeld U bahn Station, in the outskirts of Munich. I live alone in a 55m2 apartment. I have a couch for guests and I have a small dog. I try my best to make people feel comfortable. Don't bring any gift or try to buy food because in my culture guests are sacred. 🎥 My Instagram : homeless_engineer
Hello World! I'm a huge fan of positivity, making new friends, and learning about new cultures. I am passionate about tango and I love the outdoors and sports. Hiking, running, climbing and other activities in nature. Most of my free time is spent in the beautiful Bavarian outdoors. I also love to travel and anytime I have the opportunity to wander this beautiful planet I do it.
ABOUT ME I am a cheerful person and loves to travel and learn so by hosting guest I could know something about some culture better and could help someone out who's in need. I am also a certified yoga teacher, happy to share and practice yoga together.
