CURRENT MISSION To develop my country house in rural Co. Sligo into a glamping site and finish renovations on my house in Sligo town. ABOUT ME Heber is interviewing himself (please, don't call doctors, I am still in clear mind). Hi Heber, I am glad you've found time to attend this interview. My pleasure, Heber. Now, Heber, tell me about yourself. What kind of childhood did you have? Well, I was born in Sligo (Ireland) 37 years ago in an Irish Family. I was quite an active kid, losing myself in the woods and dreaming of the future involving zombies and adventure. Some of those crazy ideas for what I could do with my life were a pilot, a farmer, a sea captain, radio presenter, an actor, a band drummer, and a male prostitute. Just working in policy research at the moment, I'll have to get to get back on track to my dream :P Hold on! We'll talk about your dream a bit later. Tell me about your weird name. My first name, 'Heber', in short, is the result of having strange parents! It's from Irish mythology and the name is also from the old testament in a few stories. Google it! You have said you became an English teacher. That's right. I speak fluently 2 languages English and Spanish. Though I can get by in Irish and French that I learned from my years in school. I can pick up a spoken language quite fast given the right situation, though I struggle with grammar and spelling at times :( My Japanese is also... not what it once was. But I always can say a couple of words in lots of languages, there are no problems to communicate at all :) Where are you right now? Glad you've asked, Heber. I have been living in a Dublin the past year working within Dublin Castle. Before that, I lived in Brussels working with the EU, in a small mountain village in Japan as a teacher, in Spain as a student and all across Ireland while in university. So, tell me about your dream! My dream is to buy an old Volkswagen green minivan! I would put an old surf on the roof and would travel from one to another coast in search of a perfect beach! :) Jokes aside, I am gonna open my own hostel in Europe or in Bolivia...and will spend my life working in my own Irish bar! How does it sound? It sounds fantastic Heber! Now, how would you describe yourself? I am a traveller, a permanent student, a photographer, a swimmer, a dancer, the best friend, a good son, awesome lover, a hospitable, independent and curious person. Above all... A LEGEND! I like: Travel (wow, so original), Couchsurfing, student crazy life, buy tickets, knowing new places and people, make friends, meet friends, my backpack, Internet, movies, politics, taking a part in any kind of events, laughing like an idiot, my city Dublin, your city. What about your dislikes? Come on, Heber, we are not in the high school, when we think we are cool and will find a lot of friends if we say what we don't like :) Moreover I like everything. Such a hippie lifestyle, you know, 'make love, no war'-alike style :) Thanks, Heber, for your answers! Enjoy yourself and hope to see you again! Thank you, too, Heber! You can see me each time you go shave! PHILOSOPHY Be a thinking listening ear to all.
Living in Dromahair, have a spare bedroom to host
Hi my name is Joe, I'm 29 years old and I'm from Ireland. I'm an English language teacher. I have lived in Portugal and Brazil and am currently living in the Czech Republic. I am easy going and would like to get to know new cities and countries as much as I can.
I'm an avid world traveller who loves nothing more than immersing myself in new surroundings. Thanks to my job I got blessed with opportunity to live long term in many different countries in various continents. Most recently was a year spent in sunny south Africa where the adventure is second to none, the danger comes a distant third ☺️ Before that I spent many years in Canada, adapting to the north American way of live, and before that an array of European countries, Russia, Hungary and Spain. I've been fortunate to visit 50 countries, and what's best is the people you meet along the way. I'm interested in all things alternative, I get enough mainstream live in my day job so it's good to let loose with more interesting topics of conversation to balance things out :) I love my homeland of Sligo and love to show people my lovely scenic slice of life as it's a hidden gem with so much to see and do in Sligo. I am biased, but it is DEFINITELY the best part of Ireland, you will agree after you spend time there 😁 Walking routes in Sligo: https://www.choosesligo.com/sligo-walks.html

Hey! I'm Milo from Ireland. Not sure how to describe myself... I'm 26, I would say I'm interested in a wide variety of subjects, including: music, art, languages, outdoors activities. I'm probably a bit of an introvert but enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
CURRENT MISSION To travel the world! ABOUT ME I love to travel, I love football and all things technology. I travel as much as I can PHILOSOPHY The future depends on what we do today
I'm stuck in kotor
CURRENT MISSION Finding a direction in my life ABOUT ME I guess I am independent and adventurous. I can be very spontaneous. I generally am pretty laid-back. Some people find my laugh hilarious. ;) PHILOSOPHY Live life to the fullest. If you want to do things don't put them off because who knows what will happen.
CURRENT MISSION Not looking for anything romantic, happily tied down :) Currently travelling and exploring Europe and the Middle East in my little campervan. I love to explore wild and natural places off the beaten path, let me know if you have any recommendations! ABOUT ME Rock climbing, exploring, hiking, working on DIY projects and pc / board games are five spend most of my time doing and probably sum me up pretty well. I'm a friendly, curious and cheerful person. I love to learn about new things and really enjoy learning about different cultures and lifestyles. My career is a mixture of software and geology. I'm currently taking a break from working while travelling with my small DIY conversion campervan throughout Europe and then onto South America, if everything goes to plan! I'm travelling solo so I really enjoy meeting people to hang out with and to trade stories etc.
Hello all, I'm Colin I'm 29 and I'm from the north west of Ireland. A laid back, open minded guy who's very outgoing, always craving another adventure :D Travelling is a big part of me and I do it as much as I possibly can. I love meeting new people, learning about their countries and way of life. I am clean, respectful, and considerate to people who host me * * I've never hosted before for the simple reason that I don't have a place of my own, I currently live with 4 housemates, all of whom aren't cool with it. But when I do have a place, I will be hosting and I do look forward to do so :)

(ENG) I'm writer and spanish tutor. I love literature, for me is a beautiful way to shar all those stories that I read, so that they don't stay just in books. I enjoy cooking and I get excited about people's birthday.
