So... I'm back home after over 6 years living abroad... and would love to meet new people in my hometown! You know, I feel kinda like a foreigner here at the moment :D I love meeting new people, discovering new places and sharing experiences, taking pictures (I'm not into photography at all, but I love having memories from the places I visit), cycling, walking or just sitting and having a chat in a good company. My studies brought me to Madrid, where I got to know its energy, and I also discovered the beauty of the Basque Country. I love walking by the coast. CURRENT MISSION Survive ABOUT ME I like traveling mostly by bicycle, I am actualy a crazy ciclist and hiker. I love the idea of been host by locals, share, learn local culture and history and discover secret places. I have been hosted spontaneously many times before the existence of CS. And those are the best memories of my trips. I dont like partying but quiet plans and nature. Arquitecture, history, hikking, animals, cooking, wine, healthy food. I don't have Instagram and those kind of things. PHILOSOPHY I don´t really have a personal philosophy. I'm in constant change. I read a lot about eastern religions and philosophys, everything you need to be happy is there, but put into practice is another thing. I made an amazing trip with one way ticket to India when I was 21.

I joined CS because I wanted to know people, countries and cultures from all over the world. I studied anthropologists, so history, local cultures and diverse realities are my hobby. Almost an obsession. I'm quite geek? A little bit maybe ;-). But I strongly believe that we, the people, are the "Salt of the Earth" (as Sebastiao Salgado photographer said). I have been working in a "local development strategies" cooperative for more than 10 years. We made the cooperative among friends and incredibly, the idea worked very well. We are involved in interesting projects to develop the local participation within socio-ecologic politics. We usually work with local administration and with grass root movements too. We always work in Basque language (Euskara)This is so nice. Currently, I'm enjoying a free year, a sabbatical lovely time. I did a long trip between August-December and met really nice persons. Now is the beginning of a new journey for me, probably the last one in a quite long time. Next stations (I hope): Montenegro, Shqipëria (Albania) and Greece. Hear to the local people, share their live-style and talk about whatever they want is what I really like when I'm travelling. Of course, if you are interested on my experiences, Basque Country or whatever I'll be pleased of telling you. I think that I'm easy-going person, friendly, respectful and open-minded. I really like to hear others and learn about their experiences.
