I live in Kópavogur, 5-7 minutes from downtown Reykjavík. Native Icelander, born to an Icelandic father and Belgian mother. Laid back with a sharp sense of humor. I've travelled a fair bit, both through my work as well as privately. I've lived most of my life in Iceland, except for a little under a year in Sweden and 4-5 months in Germany. I speak Icelandic, English and French fluently, my German is slightly worse, my Flemish is getting rusty and I haven't been forced to use Danish for quite a while 😄

I've travelled such long that I am being away more than what I'd been home, learning how to make my dwelling everywhere... In the beginning I was wondering about meeting somebody.. Hi! I'm Honorata and I'm from Poland. Temporary I live in Iceland! One of my bigest passion is traveling. I really like hitchhiking trips, because I love to meet new people and get to know the world through them. I think that it opens the mind and broadens horizons. It is amazing that there are so many people in the world that there is so much interpretations of the world. It is fascinating that every person has a own interesting story. That's why I like traveling on the hitchhiking, or using couchsurfing. (To the extent that the subject of my master thesis concerned hitch-hiking) I do not plan too much, I like to leave a space for adventure. I like to laugh a lot, that's why I always travel with someone to talk to him/her later. I like trekking and freedom from them flowing and the fact that during them you can look inside yourself. I think that we can get the same calmness watching the water. I love water, I can sit for hours and watch the river, lake or ocean. I grew up on a farm, surrounded by horses, dogs, cats and other pets, that's why I love animals. I've been a vegetarian for 6 years, but in a very problem-free way, because I treat it as my choice for myself and not as my choice for the rest of the world. Philosophy: I deeply believe in happiness. I believe that if we assume that we are lucky and we can appreciate small things, then happiness will be with us. Even in the worst situation, you always have to look for a good side, everything that happens to us has sense and doesn't happen for no reason.
