CURRENT MISSION To make life easier to travellers who come to visit my region and to meet all kind of nice people when I travel. ABOUT ME I went from being very nomadic to almost sedentary. However, now I want to start to travel frequently again. My first step to reach that goal was to subscribe to CS. This way, during the school year, when I can't travel, I will be travelling through people I will be hosting.

I’m Anthony from Québec and I live in Sherbrooke, not far from downtown. I share my daily life with two chihuahuas (my “adorable little devils”) who love meeting new people. I consider myself as an introvert. I had the chance to work in China for a while – a memorable experience – and I travel regularly. In winter 2023, I discovered Couchsurfing for the first time in Indonesia as a guest. It was a great experience that made me want to keep going, and also to host when I have free time. My passions? History and biography books, languages (I speak French and English, with some basics in Chinese and Spanish). I’m also very interested in Arabic, Persian, Turkish. Even if I’ll never learn all the languages I’d like to, I find it fascinating to discover new sounds and cultures. I’m a bit introverted, but I enjoy going for walks, having a craft beer, or sharing good conversations. CURRENT MISSION Challenge myself and try to live fully ABOUT ME Veronique and Marc-Andre, AKA VeroPom and Wax in the Ultimate Frisbee community in Quebec. We both like great music and dancing, as well as hiking and camping among others activities. I LOVE cooking and learning about other cultures food, I started trail running and I really find peace in shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), especially in the winter. We both work at University of Sherbrooke: me as a research assistant in cancer cell biology and Marc-Andre in the robotics program coordination. We enjoy sharing a great diner + wine with friends an engage in great discussion about almost anything. We both play Ultimate Frisbee, one of the greatest sport ever because of the essence of SOTG. We are now focused on developing our little homestead, using permaculture and regenerative soils approaches to have a more sustainable way of living and contribute to a better future.
