Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I live in a small corner of a little known part of Japan. The people who live around me are remnants of the old Japan. Not in the sense that they are samurai and geisha, but in their conservative thought, patriarchal society, and unwaverying courtesy. I have lived in a big city in Japan and Kagoshima is like an entirely new country to me though they speak the same language (acutually it's slightly different). I know a lot about the country and the language though I am not obsessed with Japan in the way that many ex-pats living here tend to be. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE A good friend of mine from Kagoshima City has been a surfer since I arrived in Japan last August. Over the course of the year I have met and interacted with about a dozen surfers who have stayed at his appartment. I have enjoyed all of my experiences and met a very interesting and diverse set of people. It made me want to sign up for myself.
