Since finishing university I've spent much of my life traveling and am lucky enough to have been to over 100 countries. It seems I just never get bored of discovering new places and seeing how other people live. Much of my motive for traveling is observing how people live in different parts and using these differences in lifestyle in a positive way in my own life. The World is not Enough.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've tended to find CS really comes into its own in places where there's little opportunity to get in amongst the local culture. Therefore I've mainly surfed in somewhat unusual places where theres less of a tourist industry e.g Bangladesh, Dominica etc and getting a local insight becomes invaluable.
Música, Filmes e Livros
Movies: Definitely nothing by Michael Bay but I'm a big James Bond fan and embarrassingly I also really like horror films for some reason! Music: Fave artists include: Calle 13, Madonna, Oasis, Nelly, Nat King Cole... so pretty eclectic. Books: Fave authors are probably Dostoyevsky, Dickens and Somerset Maugham but I could go on for a while...

Meus Interesses
I'm always interested in the cultural backdrop to places be it in the Geography, History Politics or Anthropology of a people or area. I've also realised reading is a very important part of my life and struggle to do without it. But aside from intellectual stuff I also like to sweat.. I'm fairly sporty with soccer and cricket my faves but I do plenty in the great outdoors too- I've ran several marathons and climbed more mountains than I can remember. I'm vegetarian and a bit of an animal lover; I can also be fairly sociable and definitely do enjoy a drink or two with friends :)
