ABOUT ME My wife and I live in Glückstadt, located on the river Elbe. We've got a little boy which we both adore. But unfortunately we're not able to host often as we're often busy with a little one. I work as a High school-teacher of the subjects of Geography and English in the very North of Germany. Given that I was born in the south of Germany, graduated in the west of Germany and studied in the north east I've seen and know a little about my home country. At home I'm often on the road with a race bike, strum the guitar, read a couple of good books, listen to music or meet friends. I hope I'll meet YOU too one day. Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Friends introduced me to the idea of CS. I've always travelled a lot and slept on friend's couches. So it was only logical to get to know new people via CS who also like the idea of traveling and getting to know new people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I hosted several people when I lived in Greifswald and Bad Wimpfen, I'd like to start hosting again. Though Glückstadt is a little off the beaten track of travellers, it is in my opinion a very cute town in Germany with a lot of old houses and a lot of history. I surfed couches in the USA, Spain, Belgium, Zambia, Uganda and Germany.

O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
Please be aware that we've got a little boy and that we are both working. Therefore please let us know two days in advance that you're coming because we're always quite busy. Since I've gotten some request of people staying in the German Blackforest. There is a Freiburg close by (located on the Elbe, population 1.856) which is not Freiburg im Breisgau (the famous one ;) ). So if you really want to see the nightlife in Freiburg/Elbe feel free to find out ;)
