CURRENT MISSION I want to indulge my curiosity without disrespecting others. ABOUT ME was born in Connecticut but spent my childhood in coastal Massachusetts. My family moved to San Diego when I was 12 and I spent middle school and high school there. I came up to San Francisco to go to culinary school and loved it so much here that I decided to enroll at the University of San Francisco rather than continue on to the University of Miami (from which I had deferred in order to attend culinary school). I am a writer. I'd have a hard time deciding whether to call myself an introvert or an extrovert. I can be very calm -- probably one of the calmest people I know -- and contemplative, but I'm also very adventurous. I like to travel, meet people, and I love to try new things, especially food. I'm very curious and have a dry, sometimes quirky, sense of humor. My ancestry is mostly Scottish. PHILOSOPHY Everything in moderation. or Life is what happens when you've made other plans.
