HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING helping were i can and allowing myself to be helped COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE when i was biking across the country we got word of mouth about this woman who takes in cyclists. the rumor was that all we had to do was just show up at her house, the door would be unlocked. we could do our laundry and make ourselves dinner. she didnt get home until 11pm at which point she reprimanded us for staying up so late. she sent us to bed with promises that she'd cook us breakfast in the morning, which she did. and ive got plenty more stories just like that! i owe so much kindness in return for all that ive received.
