Seeing things in person, historic sites. During a three-week time period in 2013, I experienced the Appalachian Mountains, the Black Hills, the Cascades, the Wasatch Range, the Tennessee River Valley, the Sonoran Desert, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Missouri River Valley, the Pacific Ocean, the Rockies, Northern New England, the Great State of Texas, many MEGABUS rides, many AMTRAK segments, and many butt-in-seat airplane miles. It was unforgettable!
