Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I demonstrate peace through my original music, and through living my life with awareness and passion. Life is short, I am here to spread good news, good vibes, learn, and have fun while doing it! I believe that an inspired person living in the moment can inspire others to do the same. I also believe that true community is something I have craved my entire life, and now hold dear, having seen it and felt it first hand! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Compassion is the true currency of the world... I first met surfers in Bellingham, WA, then on into Alaska. They have not only provided a place to crash, but some have become lifelong friends! This network is awesome and could easily change the world. While living in Sitka, Alaska, I then opened up myhome to several folks. All great people, and all great experiences! It felt great to be able give back.

MOVIES: Cool Hand Luke, Jeremiah Johnson, many more... anything made for creative and passionate purposes.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
Summer of 2008, while on a voyage up the inside passage to Alaska on a Tall Ship, I caught a Sockeye with a dip-net at a waterfall. The waterfall's name was "Verney Falls" (my last name is Verne) and it was next to a Bluff called "Mark's Bluff" (yep, my first name). My friend later told me that he had previously seen a Grizzly Bear hunting at the same spot. I guess I got in touch with my Bear spirit, felt amazing, I remember my entire body was tingling with adrenaline! We almost got caught by the Forest Service too, awesome day, would love to share it in more detail with ya :)
