CURRENT MISSION Learn to be content with everything life has to offer and accept myself exactly as I am. To live in the joy of the present moment. ABOUT ME I grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Tried a couple of typical DC careers - law, nonprofit administration, and still felt unsatisfied. I traveled here and there inbetween. Now I'm crafting a career in interior design and hopefully one that will allow me to be a global citizen and enhance the quality of life of others! I'm currently traveling around the United States. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING been a host, been a surfer. Always a fan. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Always fantastic. I find that people on this website are always open-minded, curious, respectful, and connected to the energy of the travel network. I've made some lifelong friends through this lifestyle, and I'm grateful to be reminded that the world is a teeny tiny place.

Every new experience leaves me a little awestruck :-) I try not to lose that sense of wonder! Also I have a terrible memory for specific events and try not to keep "top 10 lists" so you'll just have to ask me in person

Food! ...of all genres and flavours and colors and movements; these are the spices of life :-) I try to experience every moment in the fullest by noticing the colors, shapes, smells, and other qualities. I enjoy long conversations about any and every subject, especially if it's something that I don't know much about and I have the opportunity to learn.
