CURRENT MISSION be an adventurer ABOUT ME While I have a positive outlook on life in general, I get caught up in doubt about almost anything from time to time. But maybe that's just a professional illness: I studied philosophy & then to transcultural studies. I usually need to explain to people, what that is, but if you get me talking, it's likely I won't shut up about it. Consider yourself warned. Now I am a technical writer for a living, which is also something I need to explain. A bit of a morbid interest in things dead & old (ancient mythology, gravesites, all types of rituals) can also be called a professional illness... Apart from some degree of weirdness I cultivate and also treasure in others, I like "normal" things: going out, dancing, listening to music, etc. My sense of humour can be quite sarcastic at times, but you can make me laugh with a really bad joke or a pun, too. PHILOSOPHY keep finding things that expand my mind, explore, learn, be compassionate, forgive, laugh.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Now that I've tried it, I prefer couchsurfing to regular traveling. Gotta love seeing a place through a local's eyes, eh? I also try to offer a place to sleep when I can. Unfortunately, it is impossible for me at the time. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've hosted just one person from Couchsurfing, but surfed a lot in Greece, India, Spain, Scotland.

Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
NEW: Spending a night under thousands of stars in the freezing cold desert is one of the most amazing things I’ve done. OLD: Once, after a long night of dancing, a friend of mine and I packed a bag full of food and headed out to the Rhine. In the middle of our pick-nick, we heard some strange noises. It was a muffle sound of bass. We looked around to find where it was coming from, to find that a ship was probably the source of it. As it came nearer, house-music became distinct, as well as commands, shouted into a megaphone. But the view of what was on the ship was even more surprising... and even a little bit disturbing. As the ship passed us, lying in the sun, we saw a bunch of seniors, mounted on stationary bikes (not sure what those gymnastic things are called..?) and giving their best, while a man in the front cheered for them. That was one of the weirdest and most amazing things I've seen so far.
Ensinar, Aprender, Compartilhar
I don't know if I can really teach you anything apart from some weird facts or a couple of words in the languages I know. We could cook a vegetarian meal together though and share a conversation. And, I'm almost always up for learning something new. Tell me what you’re passionate about and I’ll likely fall into cheerleader/fangirl mode.
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
