I've met beautiful people from all over... many couchsurfing experiences, not only from the website, but meeting people in bus stations, on the street, through fellow travellers and friends of friends travelling. My perception of life, humanity, culture... my role in the grand scheme of things changes every time I meet someone new. Some of my best friends and family are from this extended global community. I love seeing how small and connected this world is when we get all over it.

All of the stars I've seen. A spontaneous drive from Melbourne to Darwin with a couple of mates to go to a punk show. 3800kms there and back in a week. Stopping in the outback.. middle of nowhere to hang hammocks to crash in for a few hours each night. I've never heard a still night so loudly and seen the Australian sky so clear and bright. That was pretty rad. Snorkelling Julian Rocks (Byron Bay) during migration season and hearing whale songs under water from the nearby pods. Phwoar. One of the most incredible, euphoric, connected feelings I've ever had.
