HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I think the idea of couch surfing is fantastic. It takes away from the superficial 5 star hotels that try to make it so your hotel is all you experience in your travels. The kind of accommodations that don't give you a sense of the life the locals actually live. As a photographer, I would love to give back to the couch surfing community by writing reviews of hosts I have surfed with, and spreading the word about how much better your experiences will be by getting to know a real local in your visiting area COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have been on tours with bands across Canada and slept in the most cramped back seats you can imagine. Sandwhiched between 4 other people and all the band equipment in some not so choice areas. I loved it and dont have a single complaint. I have also been crashing on my friends couches for years
