Currently I am not hosting couch surfers, I am looking forward to starting a house in the near future with a guest room though. My passions include Chinese medicine and martial arts, climbing and hiking, and indulging in every learning opportunity that passes by. I am job hunting and looking at a big career shift either into tech, healthcare, or something as yet unknown! I make friends easily. I love creative types, and I try to not be judgmental of differences. Everyone has a story worth sharing (and those that think they don’t haven’t lived enough!). I want to start my own institute for outside of school learning and sharing, something akin to a maker space and community education center.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Lately, mostly as a guest, I am hoping to start a house in the next several years with ample CS space COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have stayed with hosts in Oakland - and ended up being their roommate, haha - and spontaneously on several occasions in Vancouver, Berkeley, and Boston.
Música, Filmes e Livros
Well...! Movies - 'Saving Private Ryan', 'Cave of Forgotten Dreams' (Werner Herzog explores 30,000 year old caves in Lascaux, France), 'Enemy' (Jake Gyllenhaal and the question of facing ourselves), 'Porco Rosso' and all Miyazaki movies (how can you not love Studio Ghibli). My book list is evolving, but I really am truly in love with Paul Auster, especially 'Sunset Park' (20 year olds squatting in NY), 'Timbuktu' (the story of a dog losing his master), and most of all 'Winter Journal' (Auster reflects on his life through his body and place). I also enjoy Bill Bryson, and James Gleick; and a few classics from Russia that pull on my heart strings. Music - jazz! and a huge array of other stuff I would be glad to share with you ;)
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
In 2012 I backpacked through California, hitchhiked up to Seattle and then spent the summer in Victoria, BC, with some of the most amazing people on the planet. Then I went to Denton, north Texas, and worked on a friend's farm for several weeks. That summer was tough but man I miss it!
