ABOUT ME I'm a girl from Germany in her 20s. I love traveling, meeting new people, music and having fun. I like being on my own, but I also need people around me from time to time. I'm sometimes a bit shy in the beginning but that usually doesn't last for too long. I studied food and nutrition science (B. Sc.) in Kiel. Now I continue my studies in Bonn (food technology, M. Sc.).

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
I really enjoy getting to know new people and their culture. And I also like showing them my culture. If someone needs a place to stay for some nights I really like helping out with my airbed. The same way I'm thankful for people who offer me their place when I'm traveling in their area. One always finds topics to talk about - quite interesting how much strangers might have to tell each other. In my opinion it's nice to know people all over the world who are always ready to show you their homes, way of living and hobbies. Couchsurfing is a much nicer option that a hotel room, I think, because you meet local people right away who can show you interesting spots you might have never seen without them and who you can have really inspiring conversations with.

Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
From August 2011 to June 2012 I lived in Finland working as an au-pair. I have met many awesome people and had many amazing experiences there. It's been my life's greatest year until now and I'm really happy that I had the possibility to spend one year abroad in two Finnish families! :) In June 2016 I traveled with my dad in a big car which was also our sleeping area. We took the ferry from Travemünde to Helsinki, drove up north in Finland and Norway - all the way till North Cape. Our way back went through Norway and Sweden, where we took the ferry from Göteborg to Kiel. We had an amazing time!
