HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host, travel and surf COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Good! There was this nice guy hosting us very spontaneously in Girona, Cataluña at the beginning and end of our trip and I also once got saved by Couchsurfing when I was lost in Cork, Ireland. I was happy to be a host for 3 friends from China. It is getting to know the people and the country and not only a glimpse of it while sitting in a hotel or so.
