CURRENT MISSION Trying to not let my job get in the way of my travels ABOUT ME I've done my share of traveling but there's still plenty of places I want to check out. CS is definitely helping me do that. I try to avoid the usual tourist destinations, so I've hit some off-beat places (like North Korea. Burma, Haiti, Algeria, Iraq and Iran). But some places are so unique, I also had to check them out (like the Galapagos, Kilimanjaro, the Great Wall, or even Las Vegas). It's always great talking to others about past, present or future travel adventures. Be glad to host anyone passing through the Charleston area. Always up for meeting people from other cultures, countries, or just other parts of the U.S.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I had been active on Couchsurfing when I lived on my own, but I adopted a teenager in 2018, so I took a break for a while as he got settled into his new home. I recently reactivated my profile, and my son is curious to learn more about the Couchsurfing experience. We live on Sullivan’s Island (about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston). We have a guest room that we're glad to put it to use hosting CS'ers. Of course, you can always stay on the couch if you have an aversion to a real bed. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE When I first got involved in CS, I was just hosting. But then I got a chance to travel and surf with others. Now I've done an equal amount of hosting and surfing.
