We are a group of four 18-year-old friends from Slovakia travelling across Europe for the first time thanks to the DiscoverEU programme. We love exploring new places, spending time in nature, learning about different cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. Since we are travelling on a student budget, we truly appreciate any help and hospitality. Adam (1st picture) Hi I’m Adam. I’m a very social and curious person who loves meeting new people and trying new experiences. I’m interested in psychology, social and environmental topics, and projects that help young people make a positive impact. I enjoy good conversations, exploring new places and learning about different cultures. Through DiscoverEU I hope to make new friends, hear interesting life stories and experience Europe beyond the typical tourist attractions. Ivo (2nd picture) I am a positive and easygoing person who enjoys traveling and meeting new people. I like spending time in good company and creating a friendly atmosphere. I love sports, nature, and exploring new places. In my free time, I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to prepare some traditional Slovak dishes for my host. Filip (3rd picture) I am an optimistic person that can see the good side in everything, I love to laugh, make people happy and I enjoy spending time with people. I also love sports, nature and travelling. I like listnening to music, I’ve been playing the piano for a year and the guitar for 12 years. I also enjoy cooking and I’d love to cook some traditional Slovak dishes for our potential host. Timo (4th picture) Hey, my name is Timo. I enjoy playing sports, hiking, traveling, and meeting new people. I love exploring new places and connecting with people from all over the world, learning about their culture and customs, (I spent the 2025/26 year in the U.S. as an exchange student). I would be more than happy to share my experiences and some of our traditional food with my hosts.
