Hi all!! I’m Alex and I live with my partner Krishna - we love hosting couchsurfers! We have a deep appreciation for nature and new perspectives. We absolutely love hearing stories from new people, sharing art/ food/ music, and making the world a smaller place through honest connections. PLEASE READ: Our hosting style… We are pretty busy during the week, so ideally we prefer couch surfers who are able to navigate cities by themselves and do their own thing. We will gladly provide a list of things for you to see and do in the city. We have laundry facilities you can use and you can use our kitchen and living room. We are glad to have dinner with you too! We are walking distance to a bus that can take you to the Takoma red line metro, which is less than 10 minutes away. It will take you all the way through DC to Union Station. Takoma Park is not in DC, it is on the border in Maryland. Washington DC looks small on a map, but it takes some time to travel around. The distance from us to the downtown area is 20-30 minutes by metro and likely more by car.
