One of favorite bands are: Coldplay, The Kooks, The Killers, Limp Bizkit, Arctic Monkeys, Beatles, The Lumineers. Speaking about literature, i mostly prefer german writers and philosophers: Jung, Fromm, Hesse, Remarque, Schopenhauer and many others..
