Couchsurfing seems to be a wonderful way to connect with new people from different cultures and backgrounds. We mostly like to welcome like-minded people at our home in Salento, but we would like to be hosted too. Because of school routine, summer (or school holidays) is the best time for us to host. We don't host young travellers; we prefer to meet more mature surfers. We would be particularly happy to host English speaking families who are willing to speak their language with us, during their stay. As a result, if you are fluent in English and you have teenager children about the same age as my son, you are most than welcome. If you are a single traveller, please notice that we will only host female guests. I would be happy to share nice and quality time with guests both at home or going out. I will enjoy showing them around, going to the beach, walking around town or in nature, having friendly chats about each other's lives, families, homes, while the children would have fun together, playing football, having swims, going cycling, playing videogames (but I usually set a time limit on them...) I hope to give myself and my son the opportunity to make long lasting frienships!

My favourite groups/singers are: The Queen; David Bowie; Lou Reed; Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin; Tina Turner; Santana; Nirvana Books: I like reading all kinds of books (novels, biographies) but also books about psychology and personal development. Movies: Hidden Figures; Saving Private Ryan; Wonder; The King's Speech; ThePianist; Dead Poets Society. I love mostly historical /biographical movies and movies based on true stories
