I'm on couchsurfing to connect with people and families, and learn about the beautiful places they are from. Staying with local people allows me to really understand where they come from, their traditions and way of life, and gain friends for life! One favourite couchsurfing experiences so far has been with a local family in central Vietnam, learning how to cook Sake with Ma, and connecting with her even though we spoke different languages.
