I am an Australian guy and have been living with my Filipina wife here in Cebu for the last 7 years. She is also on Couch Surfing as Jecebel Tradio and is fluent in English, Tagalog and Bisaya/Cebuano. I am retired and Jecebel doesn't work, so we have a relaxed lifestyle in our luxury house with a swimming pool at Alcoy - about 3.5 hours by bus south of Cebu city. We are about 50 mins north of "swimming with the whale sharks at Oslob". We live in a quiet provincial area with no night life in our area. We stay home most of the time so we are not good hosts for guests seeking company to go out at night to bars etc. We haven't hosted for the last few years but we are free to host now

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
We would like to have 1 or 2 nice people stay with us for just 1 or 2 nights. Please note that we are not in Cebu City. We are in the countryside about 3.5 hours south by bus or car. The Ceres bus from the South Bus Terminal stops in Alcoy, just 700m from our place and we could meet you at the Alcoy bus stop. By bus to our place is approximately 250 pesos or US$5 each way from Cebu City .

O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
WHAT I CAN SHARE WITH GUESTS Amazing living space, great views, friendly company, information about Cebu. Your own room with a queen size bed and your own bathroom plus WiFi. My wife is a local woman whose family live about 20 mins away and she is very pleasant company. PLEASE NOTE We generally prefer guests to stay for 1 or2 nights. I am weary of setting aside several nights to host people who then change their mind and don't show. I don't mean if your travel is interupted - that's fine - I mean people who just change their mind and take a "better offer".
