I'm Dalila, from Buenos Aires. I'm a freelance English-Spanish translator, and I love my job as much as I love travelling. I'm currently learning Italian and Portugués. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I love animals and nature. I find it fascinating to spend some time outdoors, trekking and exploring.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
Getting to know a place through the eyes of a local is a unique experience. Every person you meet teaches you something and changes you a bit, especially when you are travelling. That's why I would love to meet people when I visit a new place, and also receive them in my city :)
Música, Filmes e Livros
Books: Demian, Hermann Hesse/ A Moveable Feast, Ernest Hemingway / Edgar Allan Poe. I love Paul Auster's books. A brave new world. Movies by Wes Anderson, some by Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
I have finally learned how to do bubblegums. It's silly, but I spent my whole childhood not knowing how to.
Ensinar, Aprender, Compartilhar
I can teach foreigns my culture and my language. I'd love to learn any language and traditions from other people. We can always share a beer :)
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
We can talk about our culture, our visions of life, our achievements, plans, trips and things we'd like to do. We can share "mate", the typical Argentinian drink, and go together wherever you want :)
Meus Interesses
I love animals, and I'm actually a vegetarian. I enjoy doing new, unexpected things, sharing others' interests and thoughts. I value sense of humour very much, for me it's essential to laugh of my own mistakes, although of course, I also enjoy interesting conversations. I like tasting new food and cooking some Argentinian food (or any food!). I enjoy travelling alone as well as with friends, and I like making new friends on the road. Travelling changes people and the people you meet is essential for the impression a place makes on you. I like reading, running, practicing yoga, and I enjoy listening to all kinds of music.
