It's a matter of style of travel. Traveling as classical tourist is not really my thing. I like to meet people, get the idea of how it is to live somewhere and have a more immersive experience at the destination. Up until now I was a host more often than I guest (we hosted through my gf's account), and that has been a great way to bring the world to my doorstep when I didn't have time to go and see the world and it's people by myself.

Mostly came down to non-fiction and extreme fiction (Sci-fi/fantasy) Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is my favorite book. I consider it my warm, kind and strange friend.
